The 51st Grammy Awards

The 51st Grammy Awardswill take place February 8 in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.  You can see it live at 8:00 PM only on CBS.  Some of this years performers include Chris Brown, Kenny Chesney, Katy Perry, U2, Kid Rock, and a ton of others.  As always the big award of the night is album of the year, and the contenders this year are Tha Carter III/Lil Wayne, Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends/Coldplay, Year Of The Gentleman/Ne-Yo, Raising Sand/Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, and In Rainbows/Radiohead. With so many great performers and nominees, this years Grammys could be one of the best shows seen in the past several years.

 

 

 

 

                                                                

                                              

The Boss Is Back To His Glory Days

The Superbowl halftime show is the most-watched television event of the year in the United States. This year, the NFL handed the keys of the halftime to the "Boss," Bruce Springsteen.  The Boss rocked the halftime show just like he has rocked countless arenas in his more than twenty year career.  Springsteen has sold millions of records and has millions of fans worldwide, the Superbowl halftime show was a great way to get his music out to a new generation that might not be as familiar with the boss as some of his older fans.  With the release of his new album Working On A Dream, his amazing performance at the Superbowl couldn't have come at a better time and should increase sales of his new cd and some of his older albums as well.
